Art Show (+food)

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to my lovely friend Amber's first art show at Ice Tank Studios. The evening was so lovely and such a success; all the photography and short films were fantastic. To read more about the process of putting the event together and the work on display you can check out Amber's post as well as the post on the event on the Motel Rocks Blog. The purple light that flooded the venue was so pretty and created the perfect atmosphere.

Eva and I browsing around.

Me and the lovely lady herself. So proud of you Ambs!
My jeans and shirt are both from American Apparel and my shoes are from Office. (fyi)

Earlier that day Eva and I went to one of our favourites places. A place that I crave like no other... Chipotle. Writing this is making me so hungry, I may have to elongate my revision break and go and get a burrito.

As per usual Eva was wearing a stunning outfit with her Max Mara jacket, which I am extremely jealous off. Her jeans are from Topshop, her boots from Dr. Marten and her top is from Miss Guided.

Following the art show I took Ambs out to Byron for a well deserved burger. I was still so full from Chipotle that I opted for an Oreo milkshake and courgette fries. The perfect nutritious meal, especially for someone with a dairy intolerance (lol).

The following day Kim and I had a day packed full of revision. And what is needed when you're doing copious amount of revision I hear you ask? Breaks; and in our case, long breaks filled with food. Although chilly, the sun was out so we decided to walk over to Kenwood for a nice al fresco dining situation.

The chocolate cake is the best. Always go for the chocolate cake. Or the fruit crumbles. And the sausages. (It's all great.)

Only two more exams left before it's back to somewhat regular posting. Hang in there, I know it's difficult but we'll make it through.

  1. this looks so lovely! you and your friends are all gorgeous and have the best style! can't get over the fact that amber did that whole thing on her own - to even just have to initiative to try it in the first places is impressive enough let alone it going so well! good luck with the rest of your exams. xxx
