Atlanta photo diary

WARNING: Many photos.

During the Easter holidays my family and I went to visit our lovely family friends in Atlanta. It was such a nice week filled with food and shopping, and a little bit of revision for me; I can't wait to go back and live off Waffle House and ice tea again. Many photographs, and a few videos, were taken throughout the trip so I thought I would compile them all together with captions for a nice visual post.

My exams start in a couple of days so I am extremely stressed, bare with me on the posting front and I will 1000000% make up for it in summer.

I will never understand why refills are not a thing in England.

This isn't a Waffle House advert I swear!!!

Dunkin' is the best. The bestest ice tea ever.

I felt so ill after we all went to the Cheesecake Factory for my brother's birthday. But so worth it. Always worth it.

Hannah getting her picture taking a pizza stool at a food market we went to.
So refreshing on that boiling day. I am not use to that heat, nor will I ever be.
Samson <3

Dan and I taking Samson and Reese on a walk through the neighbourhood.

One of the main reasons for this trip was for Daniel to play tennis. I only visited the club once, the other days I opted for shopping, but I love these photos of Dan, Rodney, Rafi and Patrick I took when watching them play.

The vintage shops in Atlanta are incredible.

$18 in a vintage shop and works beautifully (as you will soon see).

Old fashioned candy in the Fox Theatre.
Phone booths in the Fox Theatre.
Going on a tour of the Middle Eastern themed Fox Theatre was so cool, particularly just being back from Marrakech and seeing the similarities. It was also so interested considering my exposure to theatre throughout my life, so so cool; would highly recommend if you ever have the opportunity.

This picture of me and my parents may look extremely touristy but there is a story behind it. My brother does not understand why so many American's have flags outside their houses, or shops or restaurants or wherever because it isn't very common in England. Throughout the trip all the flags really began to annoy him, he clearly has his priorities straight right (lol), so when we were out for dinner without him this picture was a necessity; it's also just extremely cute of me and the parents.

Me and Hannah waiting for the tour of the University of Georgia to begin.

I love this picture.
Views from the tallest restaurant in Atlanta.

My second parents, Doug and Wendy, and my mum.

Gave my mum and Wendy a make up lesson which was absolutely hysterical.

Me and my shadow *reflection.
Selfie with Daddy.

There's no place like home.
Me and Dan being cute and distressed in the heat.

  3. I adooooore these photos. Looks so nice, I wish I could get away for a while. It is true about the american flags, they're everywhere! It's sort of strange, but I sort of love how patriotic everyone is. Great post!
