Isabella Blow, update & Easter

This post is overdue. Extremely overdue. So here goes. On the final day of the exhibition, I went to the Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore! exhibition at Somerset House. The exhibition was really interesting and inspiring. It was so cool to have an insight on Isabella Blow's life and to see more information about her family and background. Being such a unique person and having such an artistic lifestyle everything in the exhibition was fascinating and I am so glad I got to see it.

Some purchases made in the gift shop -

Unfortunately you were not allowed to take photographs whilst inside the exhibition, but here are a couple I found on the Somerset House website.

This year, to celebrate Easter, my family all went out for lunch together and then some of us went bowling. It was such a nice day, and was so nice to be with my family and get a break from revision; as well as eating a lot of chocolate.

These pictures make my heart melt.

Just look at my beautiful baby cousin in her bunny ears!

Watermelon is my favourite food, I think ever. So I thought I would share this beautiful picture of my love I took the other day.

I have been wanting to make fruit ice cubes for so long, and the other day I stopped being lazy and did it with some of my favourite fruits. I won't lie to you and I will say that they did not turn out perfect; some of the raspberries stick out at the top and all of the pomegranate did sink to the bottom, however, it is a good start. I have yet to use them in a beverage but I will let you know when I do. I think the strawberries in ice tea will be so nice.

Revision is a very large part of my life right now. Exams are so soon (ahhh) and I am feeling extremely unproductive. Cabin fever is at a high and I have never appreciated fresh air so much. I have been drinking copious amounts of green tea that I feel I am becoming immune to the taste. Anyway, enough of that.

'I'm going to take a picture of you working because it's such a rare occurrence.' Thanks Dad.

Posts are on the way, but as I said revision is controlling me.

  8. Your dad sounds hilarious, and also takes really nice photos. Really cool exhibition! Also watermelons are strange, I never did like them, but they've been growing on me as summer approches!

  10. Hi Ruby,
How are you? :) I just found your blog and it seems really lovely and honest.
I had a fashion blog a while ago myself, but I took a pretty long break and now I am back. I am really happy and excited to be blogging again and this time in London! I am even more excited about making new blogging friends:) You seem like a really lovely person and it would be nice to stay in contact with you or maybe even one day to meet for a cup of coffee or tea:) If you want, you can check my blog, and leave me a comment or write me on facebook or via email. I would love to hear from you!
    Have a nice day,
    Gabriele
