Brick Lane is my ultimate haunt in the summer, at least when I'm in London. New York is my home this summer, so let's be nostalgic shall we?

pink for tea
There is a definite lack of shirts in my wardrobe. This Topshop pink shirt is a perfect addition. I am obsessed.

OOTD for Tea
If you're going to do a real high tea you might as well go all out right?
Personally, I think Sketch is a perfect place for a decadent tea. You can't beat an overdose of pink.

London for Christmas
London will always and forever, truly be my home. I’m a born and bred Londoner. However, this past semester I’ve really settled into Boston and it’s where I currently feel most comfortable. My college is there, my friends are there, and truthfully my life is there. My life is no longer in London.

here's my yesterday: Back to Boston! (with pictures in Notting Hill)
These pictures are not a reflection on yesterday, but the words are.
Yesterday, and today too, have been filled with packing. Packing to go back to Boston, which means my summer at home, in London, is coming to a close. I have loved being at home but I am SO ready to go back.

fairy princess
Being in London is just so fab. I feel that this new top from Blitz truly portrays the happiness I feel whilst being at home.

Counter Cafe
The Counter Cafe is my mum and I's new favourite place to take my grandma for a nice brunch. It's close to her and so so lovely. It's right on the canal opposite the Olympic park. Unfortunately the last time we headed over there it was pretty gloomy so we decided to sit inside.

Other Londoney bits...
I think we all know by now that I like to document everything and anything...
Here are some pictures from various things I did when home for spring break!
This Burberry cape has definitely made it to the top of my wish list... I'm a very petite person so I thought it would absolutely drown me, but no, it's perfect!

Gardens & Vogue Exhibitions
We're spoilt for choice with all of the fabulous museums in London.
Being home for just a week I only managed make it to two exhibitions, but there are so many on the list for me to get to in summer.
Mother and I began the day at the Royal Academy to see the 'Painting the Modern Garden: Monet to Matisse' exhibition, then headed to the National Portrait Gallery for the 'Vogue 100: A Century of Style' exhibition.

Hair & Ham Yard
I LOVE going to the hairdressers.
I have never understood my friends who hate getting their haircut and never go.
Hair grows! And I just love the beautiful environment of the hairdressers. In particular, my hairdressers; Daniel Galvin Junior. Below's a picture of me and the man himself.

Home For A Week
Currently having a nice lazy Sunday following my first week back at college. Face mask on, Troye Sivan playing, and now reminiscing on my week in London over winter break.
I was only home in London for a week before heading to California (more info to follow in upcoming blog posts don't you worry). It was amazing to be back home and I'm so excited to back for spring break already. I didn't film this week at home, so it is with great regret that I am not inserting a YouTube clip of my vlog at home, a mistake I will definitely be learning from.

MANY SUMMERY THINGS HAPPENED
This post is somewhat of a little update of what I got up to this week.
The least summery thing I did, due to it being inside, was going to the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition at the V&A. I went with Amber and we both really enjoyed it. Not only were the clothes absolutely stunning, the presentation of the whole exhibition was beautiful. Every room was so different, with quotes on the walls and lighting and music to create different atmospheres.

Mad Hatters Brunch
Last weekend Amber and I attended a Mad Hatters Brunch. It was a rather confusing affair to begin with, as documented in my vlog which I will link at the end of this post, yet when we finally (emphasis on the finally) arrived it was so so lovely.

London Pride
On Saturday (27th July) Joe and I ventured into town, like many many others, to join in with the festivities of London Pride. We started at Baker Street where the parade began and followed it on the beginning of it's journey down Oxford Street.
