This post is somewhat of a little update of what I got up to this week.
The least summery thing I did, due to it being inside, was going to the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibition at the V&A. I went with Amber and we both really enjoyed it. Not only were the clothes absolutely stunning, the presentation of the whole exhibition was beautiful. Every room was so different, with quotes on the walls and lighting and music to create different atmospheres.
The bun came out to play...
Sunglasses - Paul Smith
Shirt -American Apparel
Shorts - Vintage Levi
Bag - Kate Spade
Shoes - Adidas
And now onto the summery activities...
I don't think you can get more summery than Kew Gardens, particularly on a beautiful day. Walking around I genuinely thought I was in another country, and going into the green house truly transported us into the rainforest/jungle/not London.
Then was Wimbledon. Firstly, here are some beautiful clouds at 6am.
We arrived around 6am to queue up and get tickets, had we been any later the wait would have been painful, yet due to our timing we made it in around 10 and spent the day sipping Pimms and sitting in the sun watching tennis.
Perhaps also not very summery, but brunch at Greenberry Cafe was absolutely stunning.
And finally, some extremely summery pictures of Lucy and I drinking Pimms. Other than being on a beach, I don't know what is more summery...
All your outfits make me droooool. Wish my summer was half as fun as what yours seems to be!!!!!!!!
