EXAMS ARE OVER!

It's been a while. I apologise. But things have been pretty crazy. Exams are over and I went a little freedom crazy and made far too many plans. I've now ill in bed after being back to school for two days feeling very poorly (I think I have tonsillitis).

I vlogged my fun filled week following my last exam so feel free to check out those vlogs on my youtube channel. I am also going to be vlogging for a large proportion of the summer so stay tuned for that.

Here's a couple of photos I took on some of the days I vlogged -

Love this picture of Kim at the Saatchi gallery. I could spend hours at this lovely gallery, the lovely white walls contrasted with the beautiful art works is really wonderful and I just love it.

There was a very pretty large wall of flours in Sloane Square.

During half term a couple of weeks ago I had my hair trimmed and highlighted. I absolutely loooove getting my hair done, I do not understand why some of my friends hate the hairdressers. Towards the end of summer I'm going to cut off seven inches of my hair and donate it to the Little Princess TrustI'm so excited to do it but I wanted to wait till after summer so I can let my hair grow as long as possible first. Here are a couple of pictures from when I got my hair done -

(top - Urban Outfitters, shorts - Topshop, phone case - J Crew)

The mirror makes it look like I'm wearing tall boots, lol.
A couple of weeks ago, Amber and I ventured into town for lunch for an extremely long revision break and took some outfit photos. It did begin to rain just as we left the restaurant but luckily I had my trusty umbrella.

(cardigan - Zara, shirt - Levi, jeans - Levi, shoes - Dr. Marten, bag - Kate Spade)

This post is becoming a tad longer than anticipated, but I have many more things I have yet to share. (Sorry).

I recently read The Great Gatsby for the first time, and oh my god, I absolutely loved it. I had seen the movie before reading the film, twice. The first time I saw the movie, in the cinema, I didn't really like it. I kind of hated it. However, I watched it again a couple months later at home and I loved it. It was so bizarre and I do not understand why I disliked it to begin with. Of course the film is extremely stylised but I think that is the beauty of it, and it works incredibly well with the fantastic story. The book is a dream. If you haven't read it it's a must for summer. The imagery is breathe taking and it's definitely a book I am going to reread in the future. There is a possibility that I may be studying it in English next year and I will be so excited if I am. Please read it if you haven't already and let me know what you think.

Now. Bad Neighbours. Oh no. I was so excited and I was really disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it was funny and it wasn't terrible. I just expected more. Dave Franco was great, I'll give the movie that; and the baby was beautiful. I just expected more. Let me know what you think, most of my friends completely disagree with me.

Finally, Matisse Live from the Tate Modern. Matisse live was a live broadcast from the Tate Modern of the Matisse cut outs exhibition. The broadcast included interviews about various pieces, a dance and a piece of music inspired by various works and quotes from Henri Matisse himself. It was extremely interesting and gave a great insight to the great talent of Matisse and the vast number of ways he was inspired. The pace was slightly slow towards the end however, on the whole it was absolutely fantastic. I would highly recommend going to see it and I am definitely going to go and see the exhibition at the Tate Modern.

I'm trying to be more organised. Posts will be coming.
