To celebrate my step grandmothers birthday, my mother, auntie and I took her to see Shakespeare in Love at the Noel Coward Theatre. Prior to the play we had lunch at Cote.
We all opted for different variations of the pre theatre menu.
My starter being white bate, which I do love though I can never finish a whole portion.
For my main I had squash and spinach risotto which was sooo good. Would've loved a bit of chicken thrown in there too and not quite sure about the garnish but it was really nice.
Dessert was a cute little apple crumble which was so lovely, accompanied with a nice pot of English breakfast.
Feeling extremely full we strolled over to the theatre and took our seats. Having loved the film and a very large Stoppard fan I was pretty excited.
On the whole the show was great and a lot of fun. It ended on a high with the whole cast doing a fun Victorian dance and there was a very cute dog in it. It was true to the film in the best way and I'd definitely recommend it.
And here is my outfit...
The food is making my mouth water and I love your raincoat :D
