sweet treats in nyc

I'm SO behind on blogging so I do apologise if the order of what I'm posting is slightly incohesive. I want to share what I'm currently up to but I don't want to neglect all of the photos I've taken over the past couple of months.

Anyway, today we have another post from New York. And another foodie one at that. Here are some of my favourite sweet treats in New York. Yes, they are fairly typical but that should not and does not devalue them!

The Magnolia Bakery

These beautiful bakeries are all across the city. However, if you are a true Magnolia lover, like me, I would highly recommend going to the original location on Bleecker.

Not only is it fun to go to the original store, but it's also a great shopping area and worth a visit even if the bakery wasn't there.

I always opt for the vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting. UGH I WANT ONE NOW.

They are unlike any other cupcakes. And believe me, I've had my fair share of cupcakes in my time.

Serendipity

I loooove Serendipity. It is the ultimate treat. Not something to have too often.

They're famous for their frozen hot chocolate and despite their sundaes looking amazing I don't think I could ever order anything other than this classic.

We all shared the frozen chocolate, the best, a chocolate sundae and an apple pie.

SO GOOD.

Definitely not a good idea to write this post before dinner... I need something sweet sooo bad.

Lady M

These sweet treats were absolutely stunning. This was the first time I'd ever had them and we definitely left with a blissful sugar coma.

We shared the raspberry chocolate cake and green tea mille crepes.
