As you can probably, hopefully, tell from the title of this post I have always associated San Fransisco with That's So Raven and The Princess Diaries. Due to my love for these two incredible art forms I was very excited to visit the city I spent many hours watching Princess Mia and Raven live their lives.

Home For A Week
Currently having a nice lazy Sunday following my first week back at college. Face mask on, Troye Sivan playing, and now reminiscing on my week in London over winter break.
I was only home in London for a week before heading to California (more info to follow in upcoming blog posts don't you worry). It was amazing to be back home and I'm so excited to back for spring break already. I didn't film this week at home, so it is with great regret that I am not inserting a YouTube clip of my vlog at home, a mistake I will definitely be learning from.

First Thanksgiving in NYC
So I am currently chilling in bed, in a duvet burrito, having just paused Ferris Bueller on Netflix. I haven't been feeling too well this week so I've been having a pretty relaxed weekend and am going to venture into the world to get myself some comfort food in a bit. Now that I have excellently explained my current situation, I thought I would look back on my first Thanksgiving in America.
I met my parents in New York, along with multiple family friends, and although it wasn't quite the rest I desperately needed it was a great trip.
I made a little video from the trip and have placed a convenient link here if you have any interest of watching it -

Homework Response to Essena O'Neill
This week I had to do a homework assignment responding to something that I essentially disagree with and explaining my own perspective on the topic at hand. This is known as 'forwarding' - if you want to look it up as I explained it terribly. It was an ungraded assignment, so it was fairly short and sweet, but I found the article I chose to 'forward' very interesting and something I feel quite strongly about.
Unless you have been living under a rock for this past week I'm sure you've heard of Essena O'Neill; the 18 year old social media star who has decided to quit social media due to the false facade she was portraying of herself. O'Neill claims that she was miserable, and this being the case shows that her decision to rid her life of her unhealthy relationship with social media is a positive one and will hopefully improve her life and make her much happier. However, what this incident has done is highlight so many negatives of social media. These negatives are of course valid but there are so many positives that are often pushed aside because of people having experiences such as O'Neill.
Anyway, the main purpose of this post is so share my homework response, not continue to comment on the issue. So here it is (bare in mind this is an ungraded assignment so I did not slave away on it, don't be mean pls) -

another lengthly update
Hello world! It's me again!
Time for another ridiculously long life update from me, as I have neglected this blog yet again... I'm going to try and be better but I think my excuse is valid. College in Boston has begun! I'm loooving it but I am spread pretty thin, so many rehearsals, so much homework and very little sleep is occurring.
So, what I'm going to do in order to catch everyone up, as well as reflect on this crazy time myself, is to start with the all the new things in Boston and then finishing by wrapping up what I got up to at the end of summer.
